EXCURSION SAPLUNARA
Saplunara is the pearl of the island of Mljet. It is located in the southeastern part of the island and it has a 1 km long beach. The magnificent fine white sand coast makes it a very unique beach in Croatia and an ideal place for a relaxing family vacation. It is surrounded by the endless blue Adriatic Sea from one side, and on the other side there are tall century-old pine trees that make a beautiful and relaxing shade. The excursion starts in the morning by van or mini bus from Pomena or Polače. The ride itself takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Saplunara, you can choose one of the four sandy beaches and your rest for soul and body can begin. A few steps away from the beach is a restaurant that serves delicious Mediterranean food and refreshing cold drinks.
